I came with my family and it was really nice to spend half a day here. Walking along the boardwalk & people watching, going through the “cool zone”, on those really hot days, was fun. The rides seem to be more for kids but the downside is that they’re expensive. Unless you’re really hungry, it’s hard to justify paying a lot of money for the food here. It might be best to bring your own.

I think the Boardwalk is what you make it. If you enjoy being along the water, rides, games, dinning and realizing these things cost more than average you’ll have fun. My favorite was just enjoying the Ferris wheel and space needle. We dined at some fish place next to a sushi spot that wasn’t that great/had a very weird waiter but heck there are weird people everywhere I don’t blame the establishment for one employee. Upon arrival this place reminded me of downtown Maui which I loved, so naturally I enjoyed the atmosphere. You can’t expect too much from the amusement parts of the rides. Yes, the roller-coaster will probably not make you feel great cuz its a shaky wooden one, so avoid it and yes the park is run by underpaid kids who are working more hours than you realize. Our ride operator was quite vocal in the fact he had been there 12 hours already. Some of the guys running the games were very nice kids. I would recommend this place. It’s a great date or family fun spot.

Lots of fun by the ocean with rides and restaurants and shops 🙂 my whole family had a great time. The only things to keep in mind is the rollar coaster ride and food prices at restaurants. The wooden rollar coaster can really hurt your back or body if you have previously had injury, two of my older family members complained about the ride after getting on it. It’s really “jerky”.And with food prices, I would suggest to just bring/pack own food before, to save money (that’s if you want to) there are some nice restaurants at Kemah Boardwalk but don’t be too surprised at high prices if you wanna eat something there 🙂

Absolutely horrendous first time experience. I will NEVER be back. Do NOT ride the Bullet rollercoaster. I rode it and received back injuries and injuries to my arm. I was then told they had a first station at the Inn and hobbled across the entire park to be told they had ‘bandaids for guests.’ After informing the woman at the desk that I had been injured on one of the rides, she called a manager, Mike and he arrived with a police officer who said he was an EMT. The police officer quickly looked at my arm from several feet away and said there was nothing to be done about an internal bruise (this bruise took up approximately 65% of the underside of my arm and was huge purple and black and inflamed). He failed to notice that there were many tiny punctures in my skin from his distance. The manager, Mike, then asked me a series of questions- what ride did it occur on, what time, etc, and then took a picture of my arm. He NOT ONCE apologized or offered me my money back! He informed me someone from corporate would call me; >I

Sad to say, we’ve officially had our last trip to Kemah. I’ve never had such a negative experience with poor customer service… and when I went to find a manager, I had to wait in line with several others who were having the same experiences (or worse.)
