Went here with my three-year-old just because. First impression was not a good one. The mood and atmosphere of the place is dreary and depressing. I didn’t see a single staff member who looked over 18. The entire facility is filled with distracted parents and disinterested workers. Good luck finding a staff member watching the jumpers; if you expect any supervision best do it yourself. Had to take my son to the bathroom. It smelled like a gas station bathroom and there were pubic hairs ON THE TODDLER URINAL!! If you’re going to brag about how clean your facility is then at least TRY to keep it clean. The only hand sanitizer dispenser I could find was (predictably) empty. As far as the jumpers being sanitized several times a day…by who??? I was there for several hours and didn’t see a single staff worker go anywhere NEAR those jumpers let alone climb inside of them to clean up and disinfect. Overall it’s cheaper to take your kid here to have fun than to rent your own jumper but it seems like the ownership puts as little into this place as possible and still expects people to fork over $10+ per kid for the privilege. My advice to them is to hire some responsible people who will act like they actually care about their job, do what you say you do on your website, and maybe even try to be at your business to run it instead of turning loose a gaggle of pimple-faced high school kids to watch over 16,000 square feet of screaming liabilities. This was my first time going here. It will be my last.

Comparison between Kangarooz and Monkey Joe’s in Ocean Springs. The short answer, don’t waste your time and money on Kangarooz, take ’em to Monkey Joes for a better environment and more to do. The long answer; both are based on bounce houses, but MJ is larger, has more bouncers and more complex bouncers, more games, far better parent seating and staff, an overall better environment for both kids and parents, better security, and it’s cheaper. MJ’s has more bouncers that are multi-level with compartments for kids to interact. This can be good and bad. My younger boy likes to play keep-away when it’s time to go. So far, that has not happened here, but I dread the day I have to climb in to drag him out. Both places were clean and well kept. However, Kangarooz has a dancefloor/DJ area for the kids to dance and practice hula hoops. While this was nice, the music was blaring, far too loud for young ears. I mentioned that the music was too loud to the manager and she had no response. Both places have a larger seating area, but MJ also has seating scattered throughout the play area. MJ’s seating area has swivel gliders for the parents, but lacks tables to eat at. Kangarooz only has tables and chairs by the snackbar, next to the exit. There are tables and picnic benches scattered throughout MJ’s. This main seating area in the front of MJ also has 3 computers for parents to surf, a large screen LCD TV, and toys for little kid. The staff tended to hangout at the front of both places, but MJ also had staff positioned in the rear of the building too. It was nice to feel their presence, especially when bigger kids start getting wild. I do not have experience with birthday parties at Kangarooz, but I watched the staff at MJ interact at one. The birthday boy sat in a huge inflatable MJ chair, and one of the staff, dressed up as MJ, entertained the group along with other staff members. All-in-all, I’d be happy to have them host my boys’ party. In the end, I seriously doubt I’d ever return to Kangarooz after visiting MJ once.

Horrible! I had my daughter’s party there and the “so called hostess” did not help with anything. I had to serve drinks, pizza and cake. I even asked if she could write down the gifts she never came back to do so! But my kid did have fun…
