Real Old Cracker Florida attraction. Fun place, fun people. Drive around the area and see what Florida was like in the 50’s.

The staff were entertaining and the place had an interesting amount of wildlife. My only problem was that I took my mother because she wanted to go and she requires a wheelchair. I called beforehand to make sure this wouldn’t be a problem and I was assured it wouldn’t and they would provide a wheelchair. They only own 2 wheelchairs that look like they could fall apart at any moment and 90% of the park is not wheelchair accessible. It was nice I just wish they would have been honest with me about that before I drove out there.

Now before you think this is another one of those “i know they people there so I’m going to rave about it’ I don’t know anyone there. But i have been there 5 times in the past couple years. Yeah its a little shabby looking but the people are awesome, the animals are great, their tour is fantastic. The native American tour is run by a guy who really goes out of his way to interact with you and make you feel like you are learning something and still have fun. It would be sad to see this place melt away. they could use all the local support they can get, they deserve it for trying so hard to take in and save as many local wildlife as they can.WAY better than the Sanford Central Zoo, just saying.
