Where are we going today?

Are you ready to get those skates on and get out onto the ice! Jacksonville Ice & Sportsplex is North Florida's ONLY year round NHL sized ice rink - so it has to be pretty impressive!

It's perfect for the whole family, because if you can walk - you can skate! They have for rental skates as small as Toddler 6, and as large as Adult 14, so the whole family really can head down there and have a n...ICE time!

The public skate session times vary each day, but they are schedule in 90 minute to 2 hour blocks so you just pick which one suits you best. They also have themed to their sessions - like the Tuesday night Family night! it's a great discount, AND it's what it says it is - for families! (so there's no excuses!)

If you have teenagers in the house too, Saturday nights is all about them with Saturday Night Club Teen where the video DJ and music is geared towards them (although other ages are very much welcome)

Jacksonville Ice & Sportsplex is great for kids, because they have so much to offer them. If they are new to the ice, they can take up some of the lessons to give them the basic understandings, or to improve what they already know.

If they LOVE being on the ice, then the Sports and Activity Camps help build skills and confidence across the week, and it gives kids a chance to try out more sports than just ice skating.

Family fun, summer camps, ice skating, and lessons....don't forget about the sports leagues like hockey and basketball...Jacksonville Ice & Sportsplex has it all!

Though I have never been, I called to book my daughter's birthday party. I called on Tuesday and the person was not in yet so they sent me to her voice mail. I left a message at 9:30 am. I did not get a call back so I called around 3:30 pm and she was in a meeting so I left another message. She did call back at 7:30 pm and left me a message that she would not be in on Wednesday so I could call back on Thursday. I call at 10:00 am on Thursday they say she is in and transfer me to her office. She does not answer and I leave another message. ...Read More

Booked a birthday party in mid-August, arrived for party on December 13th and were told the room we booked had been given to another party. They room we were given was sorely inadequate for the size of our party. Party manager was rude and could care less about the mix-up. Guy that booked our party no longer works there, zero accountability. Kids never got the goody bags promise in party package, unlimited soda promised consists of two tiny pitchers of soda for 30 people that they constantly have to go back to snack bar to refill. Execution couldn't...Read More

Great rink and great prices on certain days. Can get crowded though, especially on the weekends and during the summer. They have hockey leagues for all ages and figure skating lessons as well. Friendly and courteous staff. A great place to cool off in the blazing Florida heat.

Pretty cool little rink. Never been ice skating before even though I lived in Indiana for 25 years. It's basically just like roller blading. Took me a few laps to get the hang of it, but it's easy. The rink can get a little choppy if there are a lot of people on it, but it wasn't to bad when I was there. Spent a few hours there, and that's about as much fun as you can have. A few laps around and it's all the same after awhile. Fun time if you've never been though or just enjoy the occasionally ice skating activity. Good for kids and people of all...Read More

She did call back at 7:15 pm on Thursday but did not leave a message this time. Each time I called I left my work number because I work 12 hours a day, I get off at 7:00 pm. Though I understand they may be busy, this is not the customer service I expect so we decided to not have my daughter's party here.

Execution couldn't have been much worse. Take your party elsewhere.
