About this activity

The International Museum of Art and Science is over 50,000 square feet of fun, interactive, educational, creative and hands-on exhibits aimed at kids and families to come and enjoy.

They exhibits revolve each year, so you will always have something different to go back to!

Each week they have a host of activities in their Science Lab and Art Studio, as well as fun seasonal workshops for kids to enjoy.

Their science exhibits feature two water based exhibits, where they guide kids through the water process cycle, and allow them to understand why it is one of the worlds most precious resources. There are hands-on and interactive exhibits where they can really immerse themselves in what they are learning.

On weekends, docent-led presentation occur as part of the Science on A Sphere exhibit which was actually designed by NASA! It will take kids on a journey through space via images from the Hubble Telescope, probes and satellites all show on a massive 3D 6 foot wide sphere!

They also have fine art, folk art, and geological collections too.

Keep an eye on their events calendar too, because on Thursdays they have Family Fun Nights with a different theme each evening, where the whole family can come and enjoy the educational and fascinating experience they put on!

June and July also allows kids to participate in their fun summer camps too!
