Where are we going today?

We just LOVE animals at Family Days Out, and we love it even more when we find an experience that lets you interact with some very cute creatures!

Infinity Acres Petting Ranch is a great place for the family to visit, because not only is it filled with very cute animals (like llamas, mountain coatimundi's and pot pellied pigs) that you can get up close to, but some you can actually hold and yes...if you're brave....give a little kiss and cuddle to!

Infinity Acres Petting Ranch has cute domestic animals, but also those special exotic ones. This lovely non-profit ranch wants to make sure that everyone who visits have plenty of opportunities to learn all about the animls. They also make sure there are plenty of programs that everyone can take part in, which are always interactive and a lot of fun!

What is also lovely at the Infinity Acres Petting Ranch, is that they have started the Enable Program which is JUST for those with disabilities, so they really want to take care of EVERYONE who loves animals too!

They are great for school tours, and LOVE having students of all ages come and learn all about their animals, and these even have festivals so keep track of what's happening!

Make sure you book an appointment though for your guided petting tour though!

Don't forget that camera, you are going to need it at infinity Acres Ranch!

Riu Bambu in Dominican Republic is the worst hotel I ever been. It is overrated. Stay away from this hotel!
    1. Rooms: very small and dirty, just enough space to go around the bad. Cockroaches in the room running at night. The bad sheeting was not replaced for 3 days and we talked to our Apple vacation rep about it, he was not surprised. After we complained, they did one bad but not the second one. Upon ordering the vacation we requested smoke free room but after we arrived we got stinky room for smokers, we were informed that there no non-smoking...Read More

I spent 5 days at Sivory Punta Cana through a voucher from Ideeli. I had a mixed experience with the place. Although the staff was friendly, I found the majority of them pretty incompetent. I had to call the front desk everyday for them to restock the minibar and the toiletries. The wait staff at the restaurants frequently forgot my order and could not describe the dishes (not even in Spanish, which I speak proficiently). Though the grounds were pretty nice, the beach needed re-landscaping. There were twigs and tree barks everywhere. If you...Read More

They gave us another room of course for smokers.
3. Health club? Need to go to different hotel.
2. Restaurants: The tablecloths were not replaced for days. They were new one day in the morning for 30 minutes. After that when we got to the table the waiters push to the floor all left over food with bare hands, all the spills were on the tablecloth for days. Most of the soda machines did not work, only water was running from soda machines as well you were lucky if you would get a hot tea, the machines were always out of order. Waiters were shouting to each other, showing no respect to customers, I heard them laughing from bad tricks they did to some customers. One time after the restaurant closed I was passing thru and I saw a busboy dumping a dirty cloth to the ice spoon bin with water to soak the dirty cloth to clean the restaurant.
3. Beach They have very nice beach.

If you walk a little further down, but still on the Sivory property, there was a lot of garbage that washed up from the sea. We did not get the all-inclusive package, so we ordered food a la carte. The food was pretty disappointing as well. It was pretentious and pretty bad quality, in addition to being very expensive. I would have preferred local food, like rice and beans and chicken. My room was nice, though. It was spacious and we had a private terrace overlooking the beach.
