I am still a kid but, me and my family used to go here all the time. Well we went last summer. I had a great time. It would be nice to see some new rides and make an new coaster but, it has some nostalgic feelings to it. I have to admit though, it’s a bit run down. I hear they have new owners. I hope they can fix the park back up. Parking is close so no long walks. I love the chicken fingers and fries. They are so tasty. My favorite ride there would be, Cornball Express and Steal Hawg. Let me tell you about Steel Hawg. The first drop it pretty steep. You see it coming but, when you go down, there is a camera and trust me, you will want to buy those little pictures. I have one at home. It is very funny to view. The smell people talk about is probably from the little lake and all the people that come thorugh there. It doesnt really smell to me. There is a little boat ride you can take through the lake. It’s nice and relaxing. My biggest complaint would be maintenence. When i went last summer, about 3 rides were broken down. I had just braved that little dark shooter ride. Im not into those much. I wanted to get on again. I was excited. After 10 minutes of waiting in line the repairman came and said the ride had to shut down. I was a little upset about that. That little ride that looks like a mine ride roler coaster, was broke to its pretty fun. You can ride backwards on that one. Overall great memories from Indiana Beach might possibly return this summer of 2016. Most likely.

Indiana beach had pros and cons for my family. Because we had young children it was great for them to ride the rides their size and a few for us grown ups. It was nice size to walk around and close enough to the cottage to head back to refresh. Its visually appealing with its state fair type theme and there were never long lines as it would be at a six flags. The cottage we stayed in was tiny but came with a gas grill and patio that we shared with another cottage, it had all the amenities and we just supplied all our toiletries and food. The cons for us were it was out in the middle of nowhere so bad cell signal and WiFi range, the office closed early so no help for after hours. There was a few eating places not alot and not close such as McDonalds but a super Wal-Mart was driving distance away. We would go again however and make better arrangements.

Visited many times in my childhood and over the years since, so I can say all aspects have declined in quality. The place has trash everywhere, the whole park stinks of raw sewage, the price of everything has gone absurdly high, and a majority of the employees are outright standoffish and rude. I would not trust them around children. Around a year ago was the last time I visited and it will likely be the last. I’m surprised they haven’t gone out of business yet.

We were told when we booked that the splash zone and mini golf on the campground were were included in the porch of the lots, which the office at the park adamantly denied. The “discount” tickets for the Indiana Beach Amusement and Water Park are a joke, as is the decency of the Park. At the campground the bathrooms are all filthy and they actually TURN OFF the water at certain times of the day. The water did not work AT ALL in any of the sinks in the women’s restroom. When we got to the campground there were squatters in our site that had to be run off, which security took their time to take care of. They have signs that note an 11 P.M. quiet time in the park, which no one is held account for. They charged WAY TOO MUCH $$$ for services they DO NOT act in accordance with.
