Where are we going today?

We LOVE family farms, especially in the fall season, and Hurd's Family Farm is no different!

Located in New York State, Hurd's Family Farm offers that old fashioned family fun so you can enjoy the great outdoors how it should be enjoyed!

There are a host of activities to keep those little ones excited and entertained - so just take your pick!

Spend the day exploring the farm on the super fun hayrides, or challenge yourself in the corn mazes - and yes, there are TWO! Great for those inquisitive kids who love to explore!

Hurd's Family Farm have gem mining, where kids can try their luck at finding their fortune, and even ride the cow train!

Feeling active? Head on over to the bouncy pillow then, or simply spend time in the kids play corral - don't miss that giant slide, that's super fun!

For those little ones, there is also a Tot's Trike Track where they can feel what it's like to be a super cool racing champion!

If THAT wasn't enough, there are hiking trails, rubber duck derby's, fish feeding and even that great petting zoo where kids can really get up close to those cute farm animals!

Let's not forget all about the fruit picking, which is a great way for kids to learn about where food comes from - and they can get excited to eat it!

Great farm fun in New York State - so what are you waiting for!

Our family loved Hurds Family Farm. Each fall we have visited a different orhard in the fall and Hurds was by far the favorite. No need to try a different one next year as we now know where we will head to.
The apple selection was still very good considering it is already mid-October; way better than others we have been to in the past. The activities for the kids were great - they loved the bounce trampoline, the slide, the hay rides, the corn maze, the bonfire, duck races, gem mining, just to name a few. Our kids range from 4 to 10 years old....Read More

Great place for large groups and families alike. Tons of activities including a corn maze, duck race, hayrides, petting zoo and more. Catering for groups includes both vegetarian and delicious meat options (pulled pork!). In October, pumpkins and apples are still available for self picking but the best are in the barn.

You will have a ball (or should I say, apple?) here. It is fun for all ages. Vast lands of trees filled with apples, pumpkin patches, and even Christmas trees. All can be taken and viewed via hayrides that continuously circle the property to pick up and drop off guests to the grounds. I don't even know where to begin describing all the activities they have for their guests. Fun, I guess is a good start? Corn mazes (or maize maze), rubber ducky races, apple launching (picture putting apples in a large slingshot and firing them off into the air),...Read More

Wonderful apple farm with so much to do for kids and adults alike. Plenty of crisp, juicy, and delicious apple to pick off the trees; pumpkins big and small to pick from the patch; hayride and cow train that will take you around the field; face paint, corn maze, apple launcher and rubber duck race to keep everyone entertained. The staffs here are friendly and very welcoming. Do check out their apple cider donut in all the frying sugary goodness! They're delicious!

It was a great experience to go with family and friends to this upstate farm for a day trip. There were plenty of activities for everyone. The highlights for me was the apple launcher and the corn maze that changes design every year. My sister, who was a bit younger, liked picking apples from the orchard and pumpkins from the pumpkin patch. The apple cider doughnuts and pulled pork was also very awesome. I would return again with my family.

This is a great place to pick apples and enjoy the day in upstate New York. The food they have there ain't too shabby either. You won't be disappointed with a thing there.
