With 54 acres of lakes, there are plenty of fun things to keep you entertained for the day! With all that water, surely fishing should be on the cards! There are two fishing lakes, both of which are well stocked with fish such as catfish, cream and bass. You do need a license, but nothing that the park office can't help you with!

There are boat launching facilities on English Lake, but not Odom Lake, but doesn't stop you having an amazing time on one of the lakes!

Kids - listen up! There are several playgrounds located across the park, so as well as the many acres for you to run and play across, there are places for you to climb, run, hide and crawl!

If it's nature you're interested in, then Holmes County State Park has just the thing for you! They have a number of interpretive nature trails which wind through about 4 amazing miles of the park. Here, the family can get a closer look at the native wildlife, plants and birds. A great way for kids to learn all about what they're seeing!

Fancy bringing lunch? There are three picnic areas with tables and grills where you can sit and enjoy lunch in front of the water, and school - there are even three large picnic areas available for your students! Amazing!
