About this activity

Located on about 30 acres of Hill Air Force Base, the Hill Aerospace Museum has over 1000 artifacts depicting the history of aviation in the US Air Force, Hill Air Force base and Utah, but it offers some great STEM based learning too!

Of course, this aerospace museum is home to some REAL aircraft too!

Kids can see a Blackbird up close, and learn about how there was only one C model ever built, and see a real A-17G "Flying Fortress" in person. Why do you think this aircraft got its name kids?

The Hill Aerospace Museum is home to fighter jets, and even helicopters, some great suspended displays, and some pretty HUGE aircraft too!

Don't miss visiting the Aviation Hall of Fame, where you can see how pretty heroic men and women who fought in these very jets, and contributed outstanding achievements to the US Air Force.  Kids might just walk away inspired!

There's even more history when you see a control tower from WWII, as well as a Wright Flyer dating back to 1903! Pretty amazing!

So get ready to FLY into your next family day out, with some pretty amazing historic aircraft!
