Where are we going today?

Who's ready to hit the water!?

Hellgate offer super fun and fast (and often wet!) jet boat excursions suitable for the whole family, with some more suitable than others.

The "Quick and Scenic" takes you zooming across the waters to see the legendary Hellgate Canyon, where you can view the old floodwater marks above.  Look around - look up, and look down, and take it all in - what markings can you spot?  What native plants and animals can you see around you?  Your guide can keep you up to date on all the geological and historical points of interest, and best of all, kids under 3 are free!  Certainly one of the more popular family based trips.

For those more adventurous families with older kids, you can enjoy the 75 mile, 5 hour round trip to the ominously sounding Grave Creek where you also stop for lunch at the delicious Morrison's Rogue River Lodge.  You will see parts of Hellgate you never thought existed, as you make your way through some of the river crazy white water rapids!  The hydro-jet spray will jet you inches above the water, leaving that buzzing feeling in your tummy!  This one is certainly for kids older than 3, and bear in mind that the cost of lunch isn't' included.

If your tummies were really rumbling in the morning and you wanted to celebrate them for the day, you could pick the brunch excursion with a 4 mile trip from Grants Pass, where you can enjoy a champagne brunch (kids, you get to watch your parents enjoy the champagne!), as well as beautiful home made breakfast dishes on the open air decks overlooking the river waters.  Crispy bacon, sausages and gravy...YUM!  After the brunch you can enjoy the fully narrated river trip where you might see deer, osprey, bald eagles and river otters.  Little scamps! There are also lunch and dinner trips to enjoy.

Have a splashingly great time!

I'm Hungry!

The delicious River Rock Cafe is located inside the Hellgate Jetboat reservation office, and offers wonderfully prepared breakfasts and lunches. Handmade scones, muffins and pastries start your day. For lunch you will find incredible salads, thoughtfully prepared soups, fresh sandwiches and daily specials..

Any Top Tips?

Make sure you bring eye wear retainers or hat retainers! You don't want the river taking them home! .

Need a little extra help?

They have complimentary wheelchairs available, however feel free to bring your own wheelchair. It can be secured to a folded chair during the trip. For the 2 hour trip it can be secured at the docks.

Powered wheelchairs are not permitted on the boats. All guests, however, will need to be able to transfer themselves out of the boards or with the assistanse of a member of their party..

Can I get one of those?

They have over 4,000 sq. ft. of exquisite gifts and home decor items! That's a tour in itself! .

I would highly recommend this tour. We did the Sunday champagne brunch trip. The whole operation was first class, including the brunch. Our guide (Craig) was awesome. It was the best $55.00 spent and I would do it again. We had a group of 8 and everyone felt the same way.

Not to stop here... Wine and beer on the table along with water and soft drinks.. All you could drink!!! The jetboat captain "John", made it fun and exciting and gave us all a bath. ( not literally ) Some folks while on the jetboat got a 50th wedding shower ( hard to explain ) given by the jetboat captain. John, thank you for making my day and evening along with my guests happy. I think all that was missing may possibly be a towel after the trip.
This is a class ( A ) trip to take!
