Where are we going today?

Here's a question, if you were going to try and set a new world record, what would you want to do it for? Loudest laugh? Biggest cake made? The most fun had on a family day out?

Well, whatever you achieve, you might just find yourself in the Guinness World Records Museum!

This iconic collection of weird and wonderful achievements can be found on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The world records will inspire you, they will amaze you, and some will leave you dumbfounded!

How did they do that? WHY did they do that! Some of them you might even think "What happened for them to even try that ONCE!"

The Guinness World Records Museum has plenty of interactive elements for the kids. They can see how they measure up against the worlds tallest man. They can weigh off against the heaviest man, and even attempt the world long jump record! How do you think you will go!

You can check out how big the largest work of art was, and be impressed by the lowest limbo!

There is even a very cool Adrenaline Theatre simulation where the whole family can get an insight into amazing speed records!

The Guinness World Records Museum has been giving families a very unusual family day out since 1991 - we wonder how many beat the long jump record!

For up close looks at pop culture, technology, animals, nature, sports and human potential, this is the place to be! Don't forget to take your camera!

The wife and I had a very unpleasant experience here yesterday, occasioned by a problem that could have been resolved very quickly and easily. However, the front counter attendant immediately adopted a hostile attitude, provoking a situation that should not have occurred. She should have been happy to address the situation in the name of good customer relations.

We had her call the manager in. He eventually fixed the problem, but it was an angry struggle, and it became quite clear that his training was woefully inadequate.

Went here on a whim and saw the hi-tech robots in the front. That's where the interactiveness started to decline. The museum is mostly just facts posted on the walls with interesting statues around and wouldn't really keep any young kids engaged for very long. A lot of the displays are old or not functioning and the whole atmosphere of the museum is dreary rather than entertaining. Overall, the museum is interesting but not much to look forward to.

A dull and boring place to visit. There were many interactive displays but most of them were broken or didn't function. Most of the other displays were simply information sheets stuck on the wall, meaning the venue was basically like reading the actual book - not much fun, and nothing to look at. Big rooms that are pretty empty, and even one that was completely black with a big non-working screen on the back wall - nothing else, not sure what it was supposed to be. Don't waste your time and money visiting this venue, just go next door to Ripleys...Read More

The manager mentioned that they have a problem sometimes with angry customers getting violent with the employees. I would bet that at least some of that could be avoided with better training and a better culture of customer service/satisfaction. Given how we were treated and how upset we got about it, it's not really surprising to hear that people sometimes lose control like that.

Come on, Guinness, get it together! You owe it to your employees and to the public to do better.
