The Greensboro Children's Museum is a museum JUST for kids with over 20 exhibits that offer fun, hands-on, interactive, and educational play for children ages 0-10 years and their families!
Kids can learn while they play, touch, explore and discover in a variety of “Our Town” exhibits that have been created to stimulate children's imagination and to provide rich play experiences.
It's Where Play is a Smart Adventure!
Kids can go to work through a number of kiddie sized "shops" and buildings, where they can pretend to be just like Mom and Dad, and perhaps pretend to be themselves in the future!
For those future thespians, the Our Town Theater allows kids to grab the costumes and lights and put on a performance, or they can shop for nutritious food in the market, using kiddie-sized carts and ringing up customers on a real till! They might even be shopping for their own restaurant, or perhaps their own Pizza Pan store, where they can put on their aprons and make pizzas!
Future engineers can learn how homes are framed, insulated and finished in a half built home, or take care of new borns and patients in the Health Center, compete with scrubs and stethoscopes!
They can even go back in time to the 1930s at Nonie's House, and harvest eggs from the chicken coop, hang up laundry, display flowers and enjoy a picnic!
The Greensboro Children's Museum even have an outdoor play area for kids, plus the Tot Spot perfect for those under 2 years complete with soft play and mats!
It's time to have some FUN kids in Greensboro, but parents don't worry, they'll be learning at the same time too!
