I attended the Adult Puppet Slam back in January or December. Very clever show and certainly an ADULT venue. The Gingerbread Man 50 Shades of Gray was very clever.

I was imagining a cute theater- this was a 2x4 frame covered with plain black fabric.

I thought there would be painted backgrounds or props- nope! Just 3 goats and a troll and a bridge.

My 5 year old loved it. My 4 year old thought it was boring about halfway through. I felt that 20 dollars for the three of us was a bit much. It was also a larger audience than I expected, there were several families and 120 first graders to see some 10 inch tall puppets.
