About this activity

Did you know that Grayton Beach State Park has been constantly ranked as having one of the most beautiful and pristine beaches in the entire USA? When you visit, you will see why! Grayton Beach in sunny Florida offers an idyllic setting for a host of fun, outdoor activities where you can enjoy that stunning Sunshine State sun. Here, you can take to the waters and enjoy some time swimming, or just simply relax on the beach sunbathing.

Ever tried surf fishing? You can here! There's a boat ramp that provides access to the lake's waters for both saltwater and freshwater fishing.

If you love being out on the water, you can paddle a canoe or a kayak on the very scenic Western Lake, where you can get a closer look at the salt marsh ecosystem.

Fancy staying dry? Head out on the one mile nature trail that winds along the salt marsh, and circles back through the pine flatwoods. For the more adventurous families, the park also has a four and a half trail perfect for hiking and biking, taking you through the beautiful forest.

At nearly 2,000 acres, Grayton Beach State Park really is a place where if you LOVE the sunshine and LOVE being out in nature, you might just want to head here too!
