Where are we going today?

We LOVE waterparks, but sometimes you come across a place that is SO much more than a waterpark - and we love that too!

Golfland Sunplash is the best of both worlds. You have the incredibly fun Golfland filled with fun activities on land, and then Sunsplash is the best way to cool down and make a splash!

Let's start with Golfland! Golfland lies behind the walls of King Ben's Castle. Here, you can enjoy one of three mini golf courses - the perfect way to challenge not only your family, but yourself! Try and beat your score every hole! It's a great way for kids to see themselves improving, and really build their confidence.

Perhaps they want to try out laser tag. It's just like paintball - but there is no direct contact so kids won't get hurt. Here, they have to work as a team, and aim the (very safe) laser light beam to the opponents score locations (such as their chest), and then the points begin to rack up!

Great for those active kids! Ever dreamed of being a racing car champion? Head to Fastcar Raceway, where you can challenge a friend to get over the finish line. You can almost hear the crowds roaring!

If you are feeling the heat a little, Sunsplash is just around the corner! There are a host of rides and slides, that include some pretty crazy experiences! You can endure a 65ft drop with twists and turns, or grab a mat and race 5 of your friends to the bottom of the speed slides.

You can climb 7 stories and step into the launch capsule taking you on a free fall journey, or enjoy the Stormrider with all of the family as you feel the G-Forces on your way down!

There are also some great places for those little ones, such as Adventure Island, which is just 3.5ft at it's deepest. The perfect place to make those smaller splashes.

So why not head off for an adventure at Golfland Sunsplash. What will it be - the hole in one, or the biggest splash? or BOTH!

We decided this past Sat night to go to Sunsplash and enjoy the Night splash, needless to say, we won't EVER return! Night splash is from 7PM-11PM, we got there at 7:10, had to wait in line for 45 mins just to get in the door, then paid $71 for 4 tickets and a locker ($13.88 per person, and the locker was $11!! but you do receive $5 back if you return the key). The place was packed! We decided to hit the "bigger" rides first, and had to wait in line for 25 mins just to get a tube for the ride, then get into another line and wait an additional 20...Read More

Horrible over crowded and full of teenagers who need a lesson in courtesy. Everwhere we went my 5 and under children were getting bumped into. Toddler area small. To small to enjoy for any length of time. Everything is way over priced. Admission. Food. Small lockers. Lifeguard experience was unprofessional flirting/ talking with while on duty paying no attention to kids. Never again will we come back and we for sure will never recommend this place to anyone. We left unhappy and irritated. Went on a Sunday at noon.

Went for Easter. Water was warm as advertised and got there early to beat the crowd. The main and biggest problem was how the pool area was filled with blue specks. Took awhile to figure out what it was but it was from tarp they cover pool in to warm water. Which is fine but they could've at least attempted to use a net or something. Again this wasn't just a few blue things floating it was pretty ridiculous. I'd be embarrassed as a park to open with pool that dirty.

The place was packed! We decided to hit the "bigger" rides first, and had to wait in line for 25 mins just to get a tube for the ride, then get into another line and wait an additional 20 mins just to get on the water slide. Next we went to the wave pool, were we waited in yet another line. Once we were in the wave pool, each group of people only get 10 mins, then it's back in line. All double tubes were gone, and the moment we went into yet another line to ride different tubes, it was announced the park would be closing early due to weather. So...bottom line I spent $71 to wait in lines and be told they are closing early due to weather. Next time we'll go to the movies where we could actually enjoy 2 full hours of something, eat, and still pay less! If you have time and money to lose, then Sunsplash is for you! Let me also note, I have an Autistic son, and he was devastated that we had to leave early and in the 3 hours we were there, only got to ride on ONE slide and sit in the wave pool for 10 mins. It took me nearly an hour to calm him down, no parent wants to watch their child be so heartbroken.

So we ended up going to fist aid and come to find out numerous peoples lockers had been broken into as well and they don't have any cameras ariund the lockers. The guy in first aid told me he way sorry as I cried but I looked at him and told him sorry isn't going to help and the only thing he can do is call mesa pd. I mean but come on what is mesa pd really going to do? He isn't going to get my money back or anybody else's either. Well I talked t ok manager and asked for a refund and she have it to my but told us we had to leave... like are u serious we just got robbed at your water park and can't stay for my kids bday party and all this happened. But after I contacted mesa n pd and everybody made a report the manager at sunsplash told me that this something happened last weekend. Like are u serious and u didnt get some cameras at the lockers? Why wouldn't they shut down those lockers instead of letting more people get things stolden from them. I asked her well do u think its somebody who a is working here and she said no. But they ended up letting me and my kids stay a few hours longer even tho the experience was horrible and worst kids party ever. I would think that they would at least try to give sum some n passes so we could come another time... so they could win us back but they didnt at all
