I went to Gold City Corral this past weekend to see if they had any slots available for horseback riding. Nice trails, a little adventurous! Not boring flat trails like a lot of places. The guide was very nice.

I went to Gold City Corral this past weekend to see if they had any slots available for horseback riding. While I was waiting to see if a group that had scheduled an appoint was coming, I saw one of the ladies that worked at the stable get a whip, then go get on a horse to ride him, and she hit the horse in the face and all over with the whip continuously. I went back to the stable to say something to another employee. The lady I told went outside to see what was going on but then other lady had stopped hitting the horse. I don't know if anything was said to her about hitting the horse or not. But I won't be going back there to ride. That is abuse and is uncalled for.
