Where are we going today?

It looks like a medieval fortress, but a step inside the stone castle reveals the built-in couches, table trackway, and woodcarvings that all point to the creative genius that was William Gillette.

Eclectic castle well worth the admission. Trails could have been nice but were not taken care of, too rough for a stroller.

Wow, what a wonder to find out in the CT woods. Just amazing to see, the descriptions on line don't do it justice. Tour guides were very helpful and enthusiastic. This was a good value.

We lived near here and would come here to picnic and let the little ones run around all the time. The grounds are great with bridges, lakes, tunnels, river views and of course the castle. Even if you don't tour the castle (which is nice) the grounds are worth the visit!
