Where are we going today?

Well what's that - there be a gator in them waters! But don't worry kids - it's completely safe, because you'll be at Gator Country! SNAP!

This amazing center is all about the reptiles, and of course those beautiful creatures the alligators. Kids can learn all about these amazing creatures - from cayman, the alligator, the crocodile, and other animals including the tortoise and even snakes, it's a very fascinating day out for the whole family!

Gator Country wants kids to learn all about these reptiles, and a great way to learn is to really get up close to them! There are a number of activities the whole family can do during the family day out. You can of course take pictures with the alligators (looks like everyone will be getting snappy!), you can touch and hold small reptiles, and even feed the alligators!

Feeling super brave? Maybe you want to SWIM with the gators! Amazing! (Parents, these gators are taped so don't you worry about a thing!)

Gator Country also have a series of educational and entertaining shows for kids which will help them retain all the information they have been learning during their time at the center. 

So if you want a family day out in Texas filled with shows, tours, and those once-in-a-lifetime personal interactions, then make your way over to Gator Country for some amazing experiences!

A birthday party with gators? No way! Yep - for over 2 hours your kids can enjoy an educational show, touching small reptiles, food in a fun pavilion and even wading with the gators! What a great celebration! .

Gator Country is all about protecting these beautiful animals, and allowing people to learn about the real creatures, and not the misconceptions that they may have been given. .

If you have mobility difficulties, then just give them a call before you arrive so they can advise you on what you can and can't do. .

    Took my family here for a day trip, nice little treasure close to home. Had no idea it even existed, but a friend recommended it and we had a blast! Big Al was huge! Great day, fun experience.

    We arrived just after opening on a Saturday morning. Many of the reviews we read around the web made this seem like a promising venture. It didn't turn out horribly, but was somewhat disappointing. We did get to hold and handle young alligators, a python, and another lizard. The gators outside were lethargic and boring. The giant gator Big Al, stayed under water during our visit. It was $25 photo op with some reptiles and we were on our way. There was a show at noon but not enough to do to keep us busy from 10:30 til noon.
