Franklin Square is SO family friendly, and SO fun for kids, it's actually ranked in the top five playgrounds in the entire country! How's that for impressive fun!
With the beautiful Franklin Square fountain in the center, the square is one of the city's five original squares, so it's not only fun, but historic!
The Parx Liberty Carousel is a proper All-American style carousel where you can feel very patriotic and even ride a bald eagle. Can you imagine yourself flying over the Grand Canyon!?
This is also the city center's only carousel, and kids can have a great time riding the lions, zebra,s or even a dragon!
If they have a little budding golfer in them, they can play on the city center's only miniature golf course! There are 18 holes and each one is designed after favorite and important historic spots of the city, which means they can get a history lesson as they play! Activities like golf are also great for kids because they get to try and beat their personal best, and they can see themselves improving with every stroke.
"Stay Cute. Wish Big" is the motto for the Franklin Square birthday parties, and it's true - you should! They have become an incredible popular spot to host birthday parties, because the party packages come with golf and unlimited carousel rides - what a great birthday!
They even get their own special party room!
To work off all that cake, they can go and play on the colorful and fun playground. The playground is located in a beautiful, shady spot so they can swing, climb, play, tiwl and explore all they like!
Enjoy playing in surrounded by living history!

One of Billy Penns four pre-designed squares. It's a great area to sit and relax or there's is a nice carousel and mini golf course to make it a fun family destination.

My 2 year old and I had a great time! He loved the merry-go-round, the Square Burger and cake shake, and I was pleasantly surprised that there was a playground. I wish we'd gotten to go to the Chinese Lantern Festival, because the decorations were beautiful! This would be a nice place for a laid back date night. :)
This is a fun place to hangout with kids. Between the playground, food kiosk, the carousel and mini golf course you will find yourselves spending lots of time and money here. I would recommend having snacks and drinks packed for the kids at the very least.

Cute little park for the kids. Nice mini golf. Didn't have the burgers but they're supposed to be good. Clean space, laid back.
