Where are we going today?

Animals....animals and more animals!  Franklin Drive Thru Safari allows you to experience over 35 different types of animals, without having to leave your car!  That means, they can roam free in a more natural environment than the cages in a zoo, and you can watch them and learn from them safely from your vehicle!

There are the desert loving camels, the iconic Bison (you might even see babies if you are lucky!), beautifully colored peacocks, and the staple of Africa - the zebra, just to name a few!

For those kids who just can't wait to pat and touch the animals. there is a petting zoo they can do this in, which is a lot safer than touching the wild animals in the safari.  Here there are smaller animals, such as monkeys, that you can feed at a distance, but still have that great experience of interaction with them.

You might even get a deer to eat straight from the cup in your hand!  What a special moment that would be!

They aren't the only ones that have to eat, though, so you can bring a delicious picnic for lunch, and enjoy it as a family in one of their picnic areas.  After lunch if the little ones want to expel some of that energy from sitting in the car, there is a small play area where they can run, climb and slide all that energy out!

If you want to learn a little more about the animals, you can organize a guided tour with the friendly staff there who will educate you on the animals habitats, nature and fun facts about them.

They can also host parties there, so if you wanted to have a party with the animals just give them a call and see what you can do!

Say hi to the deer for us!

What a FUN trip with our grandkids! Highly recommend taking the tour with the guide and buying the BIG bucket of feed! Nothing like having a rare exotic animal in your face and eating right out of your hand. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and he even called the Water Buffalo up out of the water and he came right up to our cart! The giraffe was adorable and really seemed to enjoy the interaction with the kids!

Had a wonderful time. Loved all the animals. I enjoyed walking around mostly. I wouldnt drive through again just because I worry about my car getting damaged but it's really wonderful in there to see all the animals walking around. They have an awesome walking around area with lots of monkeys, kangaroos, chickens deer. They have a baby room to hold baby animals that costs a little more. I read bad review on this place before and I think people judge to harshly I thought it was kept nicely. Plus feeding the monkeys, and giraffe was a blast. It is...Read More

What great fun! Highly recommend you take their driving tour instead of driving through in your vehicle as their well informed tour guides really make a big difference. We saw and touched many animals only seen on television and in books. They offer feed that you can give to the animals ... and the animals are glad to see you. It was really wonderful and plan to go again soon with more grandchildren. Do go and prepare to smile.

It is NOT expensive and they have food and shirts u can buy. I even kissed the giraffe and loved on him. I look forward to going back soon. Great day trip. And the staff was kind, intelligent, funny, and friendly. Glad to give them my money so they can support themselves and care for these animals.. =)
