This place is great! For being in a city the size of Fort Collins, this is a great discovery museum. The tactile learning oppurtunities is fantastic, and the jam garage helps to set this organization apart. I am in love with the Denver Museum of Nature & Science, which is a rather large museum, but I have just as much fun (and learn just as much) from this smaller museum.
And by the way, $10 bucks is not a bad admission price, especially when you understand that your money is going towards education. Caprice, chill out.

The new museum is a shadow of what the previously separate Fort Collins Museum, and Discovery Science Museum were.
There is hardly any Fort Collins history represented here. The displays are mostly for children, and create a great deal of noise. There is an exorbitant admission fee that was never incurred at either of the previous institutions, and in spite of it all, people continue to come back for more, making parking difficult to find.

WAY TOO EXPENSIVE!. Almost ten bucks for an adult. Not to mention what you pay for kids. Then if you wanna hit the observation deck that's an additional charge too!!! BIG THUMBS DOWN TO YOU GUYS. Yikes. Makes it hard for working families to really go and enjoy the museum.
They need to rethink their prices. They need to be more considerate of the mid/low income families who work hard and would like to take their children.
Other then being broke after paying admission, it was an interesting place to visit.
