A great park for views of the harbor and out to the ocean. The fort is very cool as well and makes for a stark backdrop to the views. The walk around is only 2 miles so great for a short stroll. Also a fantastic place to watch the sailboats in the harbor. They do concerts often here as well so check the schedule.

Have not tour the fort in years however it is a national landmark and it is beautiful. We saw the 38th TJ voyage of the Morgan, courtesy of Mystic Seaport. Really amazing experience! The crew was super knowledgeable and friendly!
