I've been coming here since I was a child and I still love it to this day. I now take my children there and it is such a nice peaceful place to have a fun relaxing family day. truly a beautiful park.

With the ponds, trees and grass you almost forget that the temp in Vegas is 105 outside. Fishing is hard since the ponds get fished out quick. I don't like their new take your trash out yourself policy. Make sure to bring your own trash bag. Nice place for a picknic. Price is a bargain at 6 bucks.

This park has the potential to be really nice but instead it's disgusting. Over fishing and irresponsible fishing have turned this park into a filthy mess. I never let my dogs near the water due to the large number of hooks and fishing line left on the ground. The amount of broken glass in the grass and around the ponds is getting increasingly worse and the number of dead fish and ducks is becoming alarming. This park is in desperate need of a grounds keeper/park ranger. And this is just my two cents but maybe if the picnic people didn't feed the...Read More

I Can't Believe this Is a State Ran Park ! NO garbage cans to be found. LOTS of garbage stuffed in bushes & On ground. Goose & Duck Feces EveryWhere ! I Mean Everywhere ! These are Not Lakes , They are Retention Ponds ! Very POOR water quality. Do Not Eat Fish from these Ponds ! Very, Very few Fish. On days when the State stocks the Ponds , It's a Crowded Turkey Shoot. Ponds Have Too much Debris & garbage floating in them ! Poor Landscape Maintenance. Only Grounds personal I saw , was sleeping in truck . There are Many Better Quality Free Parks...Read More
