The Riverquarium provides a unique look in to the animals found in the South Georgia area. It is a unique learning experience for kids. The exhibits are well presented, interesting, and educational. Our kids love getting up close and personal with the creatures. The white gator is a highlight just as the view of the blue hole. A must see for anyone visiting the area. The staff is great too!!!! Make sure to purchase something it the gift shop to support the conservation effort. And surprise, the gift shop does not have hyped up prices that are usually found in larger attractions. We usually do not purchase gifts from attraction shops. But at the Riverquarium we stopped and purchased a few things that brought the kid joy and were educational as well. We recommend the Riverquarium as a great place to visit.

Like others have said, it’s no Georgia Aquarium, but comparing an other aquarium to that is like comparing apples to oranges. That said, the flint riverquarium was really nice. It exceeded my expectations. There were a good number of aquariums and my kids loved getting up close to the large aquariums. Everything was great. My oldest daughter LOVED the little “cavern” crawl-through thing for children (I loved it too!). The facility was well-kept and the staff was friendly. Very reasonable admission price too. Great place to go. We’ll be going again sometime in the future.
