Skied there two days and it was nothing spectacular. There are only a couple runs that are challenging/ enjoyable for the more developed snow goers, of course their all on the far side of the mountain and have the longest lines. I'm not sure why they didn't fire up the quads over the triples to start with to keep people moving. Not to mention a lack of organization in the lift lines. But overall it was a decent facility given it was so close to the route I was traveling on.

it's close to roanoke. the trails are wide and easy to learn on. not as cold or icy as snowshoe. the rental lines are faster than showshoe by an hour at least. my kids and I love it. the lifts are slow though.

The only reason I ski here is because it is convenient. The slopes are to easy, the snow conditions aren't that great, and the buildings definitely need a overhaul. Also the rates are a little....high in some ways. And the terrain parks can be called dangerous because of the hard flat landings and ice.
Other than that though, it does satisfy my ski bug. But if you are traveling more than 100 miles to this place, I would recommend that you drive a little bit further to Snowshoe or Canaan Valley.
