Where are we going today?

Who is ready for a day out at the farm!? We certainly are, and Fair Oaks Farms are ready for YOU!

Fair Oaks Farms is a beautiful working farm, where families can go and experience what life is like for those that work there. Kids can learn about where food comes from, and sustainable farming, and enjoy fun activities throughout the day!

Feeling like a garden adventure? Then get excited to explore the Green Gate Garden, carefully maintained by expert gardeners who grow the most mouth watering vegetables and fruits you can enjoy!

The Dairy Adventure is one that the whole family can enjoy. Here, you can learn all about sustainable dairy farming, and then you can even sample products right there on the farm! Ride the cow bus and absorb the farming lifestyle, watch how milk is produced, and even see calves right at birth!

Then there is the Pig Adventure! The doors of the barn are thrown open and you get to see what actually happens in a real pig farm! Fair Oaks Farms can teach you all about where pig farming began, right through to the modern practices that they use today.

Want to hear something to squeal about? You can even perform a hands-on sonogram, or challenge yourself on their high flying ropes course whilst learning facts about these cut pink creatures!

Next stop - Mooville! Kids can really let loose here, and enjoy the massive jumping pillow, or hang tight on their 25 foot milk bottle!

There are mini tractor rides, and a train they can enjoy too!

With special events across the year too, from concerts to festivals, Fair Oaks Farms is SO much more than just a farm - it's a great day out for the family!

Our family decided to stop for lunch on our way to Chicago for a short getaway and we were overwhelmed with our positive experience. Our family decided to stop for lunch on our way to Chicago for a short getaway and we were overwhelmed with our positive experience. We have stopped before as its a neat place for the kids to get up close to the animals that make our food, but this time we decided to stay for lunch at the new Farmhouse Restaurant. From the moment we were seated, we could tell this was a place we would enjoy and want to come back again. In fact, we stopped on our return trip for dinner. From the courteous staff to the small details in the very clean restrooms, it made for an exciting and delicious experience. Thanks for two great meals and an atmosphere to match! The Pork Porterhouse was amazing and the kids meals were an excellent value! Try the cheese tray, fresh from the farm as was the milk!

thanks!
