The Natural Wonders gallery is devoted entirely to our planets inhabitants - from the earliest creatures to gain an understanding of evolution, to the rare creatures that inhabit our planet today.
There is a great interactive world map to teach kids about geography and the countries of the world, and an energetic "Lets Move" exhibit where kids can activate sounds and graphics projected onto the floor.
There are always fun special events held within the museum, and every Saturday and Sunday they have an engaging and creative staff led activity which changes every week (so you'll have to keep going back to see whats next!)

Emporium offer specialized programs for field trips for students from Pre-K right through to 7th grade. Scheduled visits receive a discounted price, and all the exhibits ensure they meet the Kentucky school curriculum standards to ensure it is a great option outside of the classroom. .
Unfortunately the Emporium doesn't have anywhere to stop those rumbles within the building, but the good news is they are located very close to a range of yummy alternatives so it's always a great idea to grab some food before or after your visit. .
Need a little extra help?
There are ramps that service all areas of the museum so those with wheelchairs won't have any issues at all. .
Can I get one of those?
In addition to some fun Emporium souvenirs you can purchase, the Emporium Gift Shop sells a range of fun and exciting gifts that relate to the exhibits so if something really catches your eye as you walk around, be sure to look for a keep sake in the gift shop!.
