Where are we going today?

Come ride along a historic stretch of track west of old Ewa and listen to stories about the history of railroading in Hawaii. Train rides are available year round. This is the only historic railroad on the island of Oahu and the only operating railroad museum in the state.

We were a guest of a member. Everyone seemed real "cliqueish" that this was "their" railroad, and didn't want anybody to ask questions or look at it. It almost seemed that they were hiding something, and downplayed the work and efforts my friend had made there. When we asked to see the administrator, he was hidden behind a half-closed door... like he was wanted for something... it was all rather mysterious... like we were there to "do" something. We didn't like the way were were treated at all.

Great for railroad fans. Excellent tour guide during the one-hour train ride. Lots of unrestored train cars, etc, to be explored. Very accommodating staff.
