Where are we going today?

From the Bayou, to the farmland, across the grasslands, deep into South/Central America, and top that off with the Wetlands and the Woodlands, your day out at Elmwood Park Zoo really can show you animals from all habitats for that WILD day out!

Elmwood Park Zoo is home to over 150 animals, who live in their natural settings, which means you can really observe and explore animals how they would naturally be in the wild.

It's a day of fun, adventure, wildlife, and some Treetop Adventures too!

Elmwood Park Zoo have mammals, amphibians, birds, fish, reptiles, and yes even those creepy crawlies that kids can come face to face with, and learn all about.

You can meet your favorites, whether it's the long necked giraffe, the iconic American bison, or the jaguar. Or perhaps you want to go and uncover some species that you have never heard of before. Coati anyone?

There are stunning birds from the Bald Eagle, the barn owl, right down to the hawks, vultures, and even domestic chicken! Kids can meet those stunning koi, or brave the alligators and snakes!

And yes, they have tarantualas and scorpions too if you are feeling super brave!

But what would a day out at the zoo be without some adventure, and that's where Treetop Adventures comes in! Treetop Adventures has over 70 challenge games, and zip lines, which take you up to 50ft above the ground - giving you an amazing birds eye view of the zoo - and you can actually zip line OVER the animals too!

The animals are waiting at Elmwood Park Zoo, so all they need now is....YOU!

I contacted Elmwood Park zoo 3 months ago to book my 9 y/o daughter's birthday party and I am so happy that I had done so. All of my questions were answered by Eric Donovan and Seth promptly and they worked with me on every decision prior to the party. I did decide to pay the extra $50.00 for the indoor space and the decorations were more than I have asked for! The A/C felt great on this hot day as well :)

I was chaperone for my daughters 1st grade field trip. We paid ticket price and noticed tons of other schools there that day. Problem is they make you pay $2.00 for food to feed animals otherwise the kids can't get close to the animals. We waited in line for 15 min. to see this bird exhibit that you can only approach the birds with an apple stick that you pay for yet they wouldn't let me bring my purse in. So after waiting in line we get in with no money so the girls I had with me couldn't approach the birds. The staff should be clear don't waist...Read More

Good sized zoo for toddlers. The playground is a hit. Kids will be occupied for at least 2 hours. Best aspect of this attraction is its convenience and accessibility -- for this reason, I would go here instead of the Philadelphia zoo every time.

I can not express how great of an experience we had. My coordinator on the day of the birthday party was Matt and he was extremely helpful and treated my guests with superb customer service!

Thank you so much Elmwood Zoo for the great experience you provided in making my daughter's party a success. I would highly recommend this facility for any event you are planning to have. It is worth the money!!

These kids paid ticket price and parents didn't send extra money so it put me as a chaperone in an awkward situation because I now had to pay for two children . Not fair to the kids I will never go back. Just include it in the ticket price the kids were very disappointed and with the little bit they have at this zoo kids are the only ones interested. Go to Philadelphia Zoo free petting zoo included and its not much further.
