Where are we going today?

If you are starting to feel the heat of summer, then you might just need to cool on down! And what better place than a family friendly water park - just like Discovery Island Splash Park!

Discovery Island is a family friendly water park that's filled with super COOL activities that the whole family can enjoy together over the summer months!

If you have kids who love a challenge, why not grab the body boards and try and surf on the Flowrider - the surf simulator! It's all the fun of surfing in the ocean but without the ocean creatures below you! Great for kids who want to try and learn the sport too - it can be tough, but you can do it!

Discovery Island Splash Park also has a large, interactive splash playground where kids can play under the spray fountains, and have fun with friends!

If you want to take it easy for a while, just grab those inner tubes and head to the lazy river. Here, you can just float until your heart's content and take in the atmosphere of the park!

Feeling the need for speed? Well then, good think Discovery Island has some fun water slides too! They have body slides and tube slides, and all of them are great fun with twists and turns, taking you to the pool below!

This seasonal water park is great for all experience level swimmers, as there are shallow areas for those little ones to have a mini splash of their own. So grab those bathers, and have a water filled adventure on your next family day out - the waves are calling!

We drove from Columbia, SC to go to the park. Disappointment!! We got there about 15 mins after they opened and people were packing up and leaving because they closed the park due to weather, literally 3 mins after they opened it. I understand a water park may not open or have to close if there is lightning. It wasn't evening raining - just cloudy. And there was nothing posted online about the closing or anything. Plus a lady there said they had been there the day before and it rained most of the morning and they never closed. Seemed a little...Read More
