Where are we going today?

Who says that a water park can only be seasonal? Deep River Waterpark in Indiana, has great water fun in summer, AND ice skating across winter. So no matter what time of year you can to have some fun - there is something there for you!

Deep River Waterpark is one of the most popular in the area, because it's actually the largest in Northern Indiana (and south Michigan!)

There are a host of attractions across the park for family members of all ages - are you ready to explore?

How about we start at the top...literally! The Dragon Speed Slide is the first thing you will notice - because of how high it just out from the park! Once you're at the top, just cross your arms, and don't look down, because suddenly you're rushing at speeds of 35mph until the SPLASH at the bottom! Sounds fun, doesn't it!

If you want something challenging with your friends, try Water Wars, where you can enjoy an interactive water competition.

Deep River Waterpark also has wave pools (with 500,000 gallons of heated water!), a Bayou River where you can just float along in your tube and take in the atmosphere - perfect for those summer days!

For those little ones, there is the Paddles Play Zone, with fun water features designed JUST for them! All under the eye of the lifeguard, there are slides, squirts and splashes all ready for them!

Deep River Waterpark loves giving families the splash tastic time they want in a water park - so why don't you join them and see what they love about it!

When can we go?

10am - 6pm

June to September Waterpark, then ice-skating over Winter

Teachers corner

Parking is FREE, and they offer group rates, so why not bring the students along! It's a great place for students to celebrate, or enjoy some sports time!.

I'm Hungry!

With a cafe, Dippin Dots and ice cream parlor, you won't be short of things to eat! Burgers, fries, sweet treats - those tummies won't be rumbling for long!.

Healthy Eating!

You can bring in coolers (no glass, alcohol or anything sharp) so why not bring your own lunch and then you can make sure it's as healthy as you want it to be.

Any Top Tips?

They have FREE tubes available for all the rides that require them!.

Doing our bit

They love to keep everyone safe, so there is a lifeguard at the Paddles area, and some rides have height restrictions so you can ensure kids are on the rides suitable for them.

Need a little extra help?

If you have special needs, just speak to staff when you arrive and they can direct you to the appropriate rides, and give you the assistance you need.

Can I get one of those?

The US30 Surf Shop is the place to go for beach wear, souvenirs, clothing and gifts for all ages! Open all year round .

More information

There is locker rental available from $6, with full day access.

WORST WATER PARK EVER !! This was my worst experience going to a water park or any where else. I took some members of my family who were visiting me from Houston. This place does not have enough huts, picnic tables or at least umbrellas, benches or chairs to accommodate the people. On this hot/sunny summer day, we had to seat and eat under a water slide tower with other people's water dropping over us. Park closes at 6pm. (too early for the money they charge). They shut the water off at 6pm in the showers too. They kick you out of the park like...Read More

I was at the water park last week.

Overall, I liked the visit, thanks to the warm weather (finally!). The atmosphere was relaxed, staff is friendly. The rides were good too, although there were not lots of them. The park has two lazy rivers while many parks have only one. They also let you take outside drinks and food inside, which is a definite plus. The place is clean too.

I think this is a great waterpark. The lines were not that long and seem to go quick. Me and my son had a blast!

They shut the water off at 6pm in the showers too. They kick you out of the park like a dog. We all left the water park & stayed in the parking lot chatting. Suddenly, my 2 youngest sons needed to use the toilet. One nice employee let me in with no problem. One of my sons used the toilet, but the other one did not make it, and all his lower body was full of you know what. I had to call my wife for help. It took us a while to clean our son's mess. On my way out, a different employee asked us why we were in the park still. I tried to explain to him what had happened. He did not listen nor care. He treated me like a criminal & told me to get out of his property. I stayed calm & took my sons to the car with the rest of the family. I knew I had to do something. I went back & asked for the main person in charge. And, guess who came out ......>>> The same young idiot with cocky attitude who kicked me out. I received no apologies. So, I will never-ever go again to this place.

Things that can be changed: The wave pool was not upto the mark. On one side of the pool there were no waves - that explained why all the people were crowding on the other side. Even on the side where the waves were being generated, they were weak. I have been to other parks where the action is real good and you get deeper crests and trough.

I went to a food joint where they sell funnel cake, ice cream etc. It took me 30 minutes to get my ice cream. What a terrible waste of time! There were only 2 people helping in there and the service was slow. The quality of the food was so-so.

I also wish they stayed open later than 6pm. Currently they close at 6pm which is a disappointment :(

The park could use couple more rides, but I believe they are constructing another one. Let us hope it will be a good one. It will also be nice to have cozy, private cabanas like in some other parks.

It is a good place to go under the right weather conditions for the money charged.
