Dakota Waters Beulah
Where are we going today?
How does waking up, basking in the sun, then making you way down to the marina about to embark on a family fishing trip - not needing to be anywhere else sound? Pretty good right!?
Dakota Waters Resort wants to make every day you spend there JUST like that!
If you have an RV, they have 49 sites with water and electric hook ups (but there is an on site dump station). Some have scoria pads, some have grass pads, but you can be assured they all are walking distance from the water!
There is a restaurant on site if you don't fancy cooking breakfast, and Friday and Saturday nights they have delicious supper specials!
Kids, you can go work off all that breakfast energy on their little playground with a fun twisty slide and plenty of things to climb on!
Loved that idea of getting out to fish? Of course! Pop down to their store and pick up some live bait and tackle, and head to the boat rental area where you can enjoy a day of relaxing and trying to catch your next meal! There is a fish cleaning station for your use too.
Then, once you have caught HEAPS of fish (we know you can!) you can enjoy your meal on their picnic shelter which is right on the water.
If you can't get enough of the water there are kayak rentals, as well as a boat launch if you fancy bringing your own boat.
You might be lucky enough to be there for some of their special events too, like the 4th July fireworks, so make sure you keep checking what is happening so you don't miss out!
What is there to do?
If you like fishing this is for you! Walleye, Sauger, Salmon, Northern Pike, and Small mouth bass are some of the what you might pick up for your dinner! They also have boat rental and kayak rental.
How much does it cost?
- Full hook up $23 / night / day
Facilities on site
They have a convenience store where you can pick up convenience items, and foods. There are showers, a playground, launch ramps, rental slips, RV dump station, fishing licences available as well as bait, tackle and a fish cleaning station.
When can we go?
The convenience stores sells groceries, candy, soda and ice-cream - of if you're lucky you can catch your dinner in the lake! .

There were cabins as well as camper parking. The cabins were clean and comfortable. The other campers were very nice. The staff was very helpful and kind. I'm hope that I can fit in another trip there (if I can fit it into my budget.) I'm coming from the area of Chicago to North Dakota. It's well worth the trip!!!
