Showcases the story of aviation history. In addition to a replica of the Wright Flyer, the museum displays military and civilian aircraft from 1928 to the present. There are exhibits, narratives, uniforms, memorabilia, paintings, photographs and a gift shop.
How much does it cost?
- Free Under: 4 years.
When can we go?
Monday through Saturday 10am to 5pm; Sunday 1pm to 5pm.
Mid-May through mid-October; other times by appointment.
We are a great place for students. We offer guided tours that center around the Wright Flyer. School groups set up appointments in the spring and continue into the summer. We are open for appointments during the off-season too. The museum is a great place to get students interested in aviation history and the regions role in that history. It is a great place to picnic, to take group photos and to watch the airplanes take off and land at the Minot International Airport..
There are both fast food and nice restaurants within a mile of the museum. Most food places are very close..
We have a lounge area that is a great place to relax and take care of babies and children..
Can I get one of those?
We have a gift shop where we sell model airplanes (die cast assembled models and plastic models that are easy to assemble); caps, pins, books, DVD's, videos, t-shirts, polo shirts, windshirts and wind jackets. The garments come with the museum's logo..

Pretty good displays for a small-town air museum. If your into Air Force and flying history it's worth stopping by.

An overall good experience. They have a lot to see and you can get close to the old airplanes. It's worth the price. Good for all ages.

Great place to take the family. So much to see, our kids (11,8,6,4) loved it! Family price is $15. Well worth it.
