Where are we going today?

Kids, you get your own museum!  The State Museum of Pennsylvania has set up your own little space in their main museum, just for you!

Get involved in the one-of-a-kind and very exciting exhibitions and collection where you can use your imagination and your creativity! Discover, play and learn with other kids your age, and your parents.

Imagine you are behind the controls of a build forklift, moving rocks back and forth on a huge construction site!  There is an Industry and Transportation Zone where you can practice your motor skills in the fun Construction Zone, where you can begin to build you own little world!

Spend some time with imaginative play in the Farmland and Living Forest with outside-indoors features where you can learn about nature and all the creatures that you can find there, and get creative with the art wall as you express yourself with your art work...take advantage of being able to draw on the walls while you can!

There is also a special area dedicated for the under 1's with a great multi sensory toy collection, which is perfect for them to play around kids their own age, but also really develops the important skills they need for growing up.

At selected times throughout the year they hold popular reading series for kids aged 3 - 5 with a different book each week being read each week to transport kids into a whole other world!

Its too dark in some areas, the all stuffed-no live animals is kinda creepy... exhibits are okay. childrens play area used to be bigger and better but they cut it down...have no idea why. costs too much to have your kids go often. wish there was more history.

Sucks that they charge to enter now and the kids should be free not a dollar less than an adult if that the case just make it one flat price.
