Where are we going today?

Who is excited about having a colorful family day out in Minnesota? Well, if you do, and are feeling creative, why not head to the Crayola Experience in Minneapolis! It's 60,000 sq ft of amazingly colorful fun, with 25 hands-on attractions where kids can play, and create. That's what we like to her!

This family attraction is designed to give kids, and parents, a full day of creative play. It's where each child can let their imagination run wild, and where everything they create will be wonderfully unique (just like them!)

Each of the hands-on attractions offer something different, and fun. There are unique experience they can't find anywhere else, so it makes sense to visit and see for yourself!

Kids can learn how crayons are made during a live manufacturing show. Have you ever wondered how they are made? They aren't created on the store shelves, after all!

Do you like coloring books? How about staring in your very own coloring page? You can come to life yourself! If you really want to have something special to YOU, then why not name and wrap your very own Crayola crayon? What color will you choose!

Crayola Experience also allows you to embark on a 4-D coloring adventure - want to know what that means? There is only one way to find out!

Kids can take in the aroma of the world's most iconic scents, and use melted wax in a whole new way.  They can color at the colossal caddy, or they can press their own hand-drawn design and create a jigsaw puzzle from it!

It's a day of creativity, of fun, and most of all - color! Only at Crayola Experience Minneapolis!

This place is amazing! You can color, play with play dough, make your own crayons, label your own crayons and so much more. We went with our 14,12,7,&4 year old and there was truly something for everyone. Recommend arriving close to opening time as it does get busy. Must do for anyone visiting this area of Minnesota

I was hesitant at first to give this place a try due to the price, $25 a person regardless of age seems pretty expensive. I decided to give it try since you are able to apply the cost of the ticket to a year pass which is $35. My daughter absolutely loved it. There is so much to do and something for pretty much any age. I think I may have enjoyed myself more than my daughter. I did decide to get the year pass and will be definitely coming here again.

Somewhat expensive but fun for all ages. The biggest drawback to this new attraction at the mall of America is the price. Admission is about $25 per person regardless of age. There are coupons to be found which take $5 off the price and they stamp your hand for re-entry. As far as the activities go, they are all very well done. How much could be done based on crayons? It turns out quite a lot. We spent the entire day just at Crayola. Apart from just straight up coloring there is also an activity with modeling clay, as well as a number of activities...Read More

It turns out quite a lot. We spent the entire day just at Crayola. Apart from just straight up coloring there is also an activity with modeling clay, as well as a number of activities that involve animating colored creations which were pretty cool. There were a few activities that involved melting down crayons, one that turns it into another object made of wax and a second that is spin art with melted crayons. There is of course the store with all things Crayola for sale, including a wall of loose crayons of every color for fill your own crayons tins of various sizes.
