This place, and the people who run it, made what could have a terrible time into an enjoyable one. My car broke down on the way to a friend's wedding in Colorado. Nearby motels cost double and a half what I'd expect to pay, so I decided to set up a tent until the weekend passed and my car could get repaired. I came across Country View Campground on Google maps, and decided to walk there. The grounds are clean and tended to daily, the restrooms and showers are perfectly clean as well. There's wifi, a playground, a heated in-ground pool, laundry...Read More

Great Travel campground! Really clean showers, laundry, pool, Internet, easy access to the interstate (some road noise at night). Great hosts. Couldn't ask for a better place to lay my head for a night.

This is a great, moderately priced (around $20 for a tent) stop off of I-80. It had a pool, a playground, and a clean bathroom with showers. The host was nice and got us checked in promptly even though we arrived around 10PM. Plus, it's only a couple minutes off the interstate, which made it perfect for an overnight stop.

The campground is great. It is very clean, there is a place to do your laundry, pool, and bath house. We were planning on staying there through the whole summer but had to leave. The host came off as really nice and said that we could keep our dogs there if they were on a leash and weren't chained outside unless we were there. His dog-friendly attitude was just a front! He bugged us nearly everyday knocking on the door making sure we were keeping up with our "dog rules". It was absolutely absurd! We don't recommend this place to anyone and will...Read More

There's wifi, a playground, a heated in-ground pool, laundry rooms, grated fire pits, clean drinking water and electric available at a quarter the price of a nearby motel. Tammy and Shawn have been the best hosts we could have dreamed of. One or the other seems to be in all places at all times for prompt, friendly service; they gave us a map of local places of import, a take-out menu for a place with delivery services, and they even sympathized with our situation by offering to drive us into town to get supplies rather than walk. They are good people with great service.

We don't recommend this place to anyone and will never stay there again- the host was terribly rude and mean!
