Where are we going today?
Get those fishing rods out, it's Cooper Creek Resort and Campground time!
Cooper Creek is a lovely RV Park located on the shores of Lake Taneycomo, in Branson, Missouri, which of course is famous for trout fishing!
They aren't all about trout fishing though, because just 5 minutes from Branson you can enjoy all of the towns shows, entertainment and restaurants!
Your family will enjoy the peaceful, wooded lakeside campsites where you can just relax until your heart's content!
They have 75 full hook up sites, as well as 22 cabins (one bedroom to three) all with full kitchens and microwaves (and linens provided!) They have air con, cable, fans, and your own deck or porch complete with charcoal BBQ grill!
They have two bath houses (as well as make up areas for the ladies - they have thought of everything!), and a laundromat with washers, dryers and a folding area/ironing board.
They have swimming pools so kids, don't you worry about those hot summer days and of course there is the fishing! They have 28 stall boar and fishing docks and what some people consider some of the best trout fishing in the country! The lake is stocked with over 1 million trout annually so we might be inclined to agree with that!
You can bring your own boat, or rent one of theirs (they have various pontoon sizes), and of course you can just fish straight off the dock. At Cooper Creek Resort and Campground you'll be hooked!
What is there to do?
Fishing, fishing and more fishing! On site they also have two pools, and Branson is only 5 minutes away with all their fun things to do.
How much does it cost?
- Full hook up $30 - $38 / day
Facilities on site
They have 75 Full hook-up sites with 30/50 amp service as well as pull thrus and paved roads to make it easier. There are 66 channels on Cable TV, as well as fishing docks, boat, motor and slip rentals.
When can we go?
Cabins all year round. Campsites March to Dec
There is a convenience store to stock up on supplies if you can't catch your dinner! Branson is only 5 minutes away too if you fancy eating out. .
Quiet dogs are allowed in the cabins at a small fee. No cats however. .

Fritz the owner is VERY nice, helpful, and really cares about your experience. My family and I stayed in cabin 16. It was very clean and updated. The ac kept it very cool and the furniture seemed new. Great water pressure in the shower and everything worked. The staff seem to really care about the experience as everything has labels, so you know exactly how to get something you may have forgotten or something you may need. The onsite office store has a little bit of everything to make your stay just that much better. And for the fishing, I was catching...Read More

Water front resort with cabins and RV and camping sites and friendly staff.
They also have 2 docks to fish from with boat slips and boat rentals. I rented a pontoon from them and it was a really nice experience. Just love Fritz the owner.

Wide variety of Amenities. I was told they are under new ownership this year and from what I have seen the staff/owners keep the resort well maintained. A perfect getaway on the lake!

The staff seem to really care about the experience as everything has labels, so you know exactly how to get something you may have forgotten or something you may need. The onsite office store has a little bit of everything to make your stay just that much better. And for the fishing, I was catching them off the dock but it got really fun after renting the very reasonably priced 20' pontoon boat, that came with life jackets and a quick safety run through to take any nerves away- even if you have not driven a boat before. Once upstream- the views are breathtaking and the fishing gets even better. Caught almost our limit of trout in just a few hours- cleaned the fish in the "on dock" cleaning station(also kept very clean) and cooked them right on the nice weber grill supplied with the cabin (even has a cleaning tool for you to use). My family and I will most definitely be visiting Cooper Creek Resort again. O yea- did I mention its only 5 minutes to the Branson Strip! Perfect experience!!! Thank you again Fritz!
