Daniel was fantastic and incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and helped me save a piece I was working on in a way I would not have known to do myself. A delightful experience.

I came to Color Me Mine for the first time since 2001 a few days ago and was really very disappointed. Up until a few months ago I was a regular at a place in Portland OR called CeramiCafe and would go in at least once a week. It is the essentially same thing as CMM, except for a few things. I came to Color Me Mine for the first time since 2001 a few days ago and was really very disappointed. Up until a few months ago I was a regular at a place in Portland OR called CeramiCafe and would go in at least once a week. It is the essentially same thing as CMM, except for a few things. The prices per peice were in the same range, HOWEVER, there was no painting fee of any sort. Paint/supplies, studio time, it was all included! I was shocked to pay at CMM a few days ago and find my bill was $10 over what it should have been. The rest could have been at this particular location only, BUT... The selection at CMM was limited compared to my old place. If I'm paying $10 more for no reason, I want more options. CeramiCafe had things like tiles(4in-12in), drawer knobs and door handles, lots of neat stuff. The paint colors at CMM is also limited. Literally 6 colors that were on display to show you color after being fired were not available to use. The one girl that was working was nice but when people came in to ask questions she often did not know the answer. Because CMM is literally the only place like this in the LA area that I've found, I will probably break down and pay the extra $10... but in the back of my mind I'll know I could have a whole other piece to paint for that kind of money!
