Where are we going today?

We LOVE camping, but it's even more fun to find a campground that is filled with family fun too - and that's what Colonial Woods Family Campground has done!

Colonial Woods Family Campground is the perfect spot to spend a few days, because they are ALL about family fun! They also offer you exactly what you need for your camping experience, too.

They have spacious wooded sites, pull thru sites AND tent sites to accommodate all who like camping, no matter what kind. They even have cabin rentals if you didn't have a tent or RV of your own!

They also have the laundry rooms, store and clean restrooms you need for a comfortable stay.

But what makes this Pennsylvania campground special, are the great family activities that you can enjoy during your stay there. When you arrive, they say they don't give you a map - they just point you in the direction of the playground!

There is a games room that kids love to spend time in, and an activities hall filled with fun games, arts and crafts, and even bingo!

Settle in for the night with their outdoor movies, or get cool in the spray pool or heated swimming pool! The ice cream socials are always popular with the little ones, and they have super fun themed weekends every week, so make sure you check out what the theme is when you visit so you can get stuck in!

There is a spa for those older ones, fishing for the nature lovers, and those active kids always gravitate towards the tennis court, basketball, shuffleboard, activity fields and even mini golf!

Didn't we say that Colonial Woods Family Camping Resort was so much more than a campsite!

Now the only question is....what will you do first!?

We stayed here 3 years in July. First year no issues with electric. The last two we did not have sufficient voltage to run our appliances. The 92 volts inside our camper will not power anything correctly, but could lead to damage. The last time I was there I talked to others in the park and they experienced voltage problems. Camp with caution and monitor your voltage. Signed a friendly electrician.

The campground is kept clean and is in a lovely setting close to Lake Nockamixon where we can go sailing, kayaking, etc.

The only "complaint" we have is that we wish the pool stayed open a bit later at night and also into September.
