Went here for a birthday party a little while ago and we had a blast. Very fun environment with heavy duty laser guns and a huge variety of advanced guns that you can upgrade to. The warehouse is well laid out and a lot of fun to run and hide in. Our party did get annihilated by a bunch of 10 year olds though... that wasn't too fun. :)

I came here a while ago with some friends and I had an amazing time. The guns felt very realistic and so did the environment in which you are placed.

I love paintball, but it does have it's downsides. If you're shot you have to sit out for a while, possibly a long while. Everything is long range and if the guy you're going against puts $500 into his setup, you're going to lose. It is also pretty damn expensive. Pain is also a factor.

CMP lazer tag takes all of those problems and throws them out. It also adds things that I didn't know I was missing out on with paintball. There are different "game modes" that play like things out of call of duty or battlefield. Rush, sabotage, team death...Read More

CMP Rocks! Welcome to the west side new Oconomowoc location!
BTW - Lake Geneva is a totally unique kick ass outdoor experience. Can't wait to see what you have up your sleeve for the outdoor arena in Oconomowoc.

CMP lazer tag takes all of those problems and throws them out. It also adds things that I didn't know I was missing out on with paintball. There are different "game modes" that play like things out of call of duty or battlefield. Rush, sabotage, team death match, etc. And if you get shot, you just go back to base and respawn. No sitting out for 20 minutes away from the action while you're waiting for everyone else to die. They've built elaborate "maps" that have 2-3 stories. They've got an actual briefcase that acts as a bomb where you need to type in a code to defuse, capture points that light up with your team's color, and legitimately awesome looking and feeling guns. Most importantly they change things up round to round so you're never close to bored.

It is less expensive than paintball and without the risk of welts it is much easier to bring along the girlfriend or your young nephew. CMP has overtaken paintball as my go to activity. More importantly, it really makes COD and battlefield feel toned down. Once you go scrambling up stairs and clear the upper floor of a building aiming down a red dot sight, things just won't be the same.
