We decided on a spur of the moment to try a Circle Line Sightseeing tour one October Sunday afternoon. We took the 2.5 hour trip which completely circumnavigates Manhattan. The boat was clean and comfortable (the bar on deck was a nice touch), and the boat wasn't too crowded, which meant we weren't jammed in too tightly. The trip was very pleasant. And it was made all the more enjoyable by our tour guide, David Parker, whose knowledge of the area was almost encyclopedic. We went on the 4pm cruise and it was spectacular seeing the sunset on the way round and then seeing Manhattan by night - we had a bit of every type of light which really made it.
I've done this a few times and the timing really made it this time.
Love the tour guide's voice and great storytelling and facts about NYC.
FREEZING though outside!

Really great tour. I paid $60 for the premium ticket which included your own private area with unobstructed view and table service. Well worth it. Great cruise to take in all the sights of NYC. Highly recommended. :-)

Wie took the landmark Tour around the south of Manhattan 10/14 and it was great! A must for all first time NY visitors! The fifth star got lost, because I didn't geht beer without my ID (THX to my antiaging creme! ;-) )

We enjoyed the trip of the full circle tour! Got lots of history about New York and surrounding areas. Also enjoyed the few shout outs to Canada! The tour guide was great and kept us entertained. Also great to sit in a air conditioned boat after so much walking in the heat. Was great to relax and just enjoy God's nature and Man made dreams come to life. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone!

Circle Line Sightseeing is a very nice option for any tourist, be they first timers or veterans.
