Where are we going today?

If you have kids that love some hands-on fun, love experimenting and love getting creative, then why not take them along to the Children's Museum of New Hampshire where it's all about giving kids under 12 years a fun day of learning through play!

The Children's Museum of New Hampshire is two floors of just FUN!

If kids are fascinated by flight, then in the Build It, Fly It exhibit they can learn all about aerodynamics, as well as exercise their creativity!

They can engineer their old flying machine, or follow in the footsteps of scientists and inventors. Engineers in the making!

Aquatic life is fascinating, so why not explore everything that lives along the Cochecho River - which flows right through the museum's backyard! They can also learn all about how waterpower can harness energy, and learn about changing cotton into cloth!

Pattern palace is all about visual and textural patterns, where kids can enjoy some amazing colors and designs, including playing with the Royal Throne!

Those inquisitive minds can explore a Baby Butterfly Garden with soft sculpture elements, or discover animal puppets and stepping stones across the pond, and older kids can even become palaeontologists, and help dig for those prehistoric creatures - the dinosaurs! Have you ever measured yourself against a life-sized femur bone to see how big they really were? Now is your chance!

The Children's Museum of New Hampshire is FILLED with amazing experiences for those kids, so take them along and let them spend the day playing, using their imagination, touching, experimenting and getting creative - all in the name of education!

After coming here for few years I feel it's a place for older kids. Yes, you can bring your baby and toddlers but it provides very limited play area for the little ones as far as what they can reach and play with.

It is a nice clean place. I just feel they could add more things within all the space they have which feels like a waste. We took our youngest recently and she wasn't really attracted to a lot of things other than the dinosaur area where there are some sands.

Excellent! My almost 7 yo son absolutely LOVES this place! I've been taking him for years now! Great place for a children's field trip too! Kids and adults too can learn while having fun!

Nothing to say. This place is amazing for every ages, even very young kids. I went with my 1 year old daughter and she liked it very much. I would definitely come back next time I visit the region of Dover. The only drawback is that they charge BOTH for the child (1 year and up) AND the adult accompanying him.

I have visited this museum 3 times as my daughter grows at ages 17 months, 2.5 and 3 years old. Each time I keep hoping that she will love it and something will grab her attention, but each time she wanders around, pokes at the different rooms and doesn't love it. I would love it if she loved it, I would be willing to drive the 30 minutes to an educational indoor playspace, but for some reason this museum is lacking something that grabs her attention. We have been to the Boston Children's Museum, the Montshire in Vt and the Children's Discovery...Read More

Again, if you have children 5+ this may a good place but paying nearly $10 per person including adults it's not the place I would want to go often. First time visit is always fun; if anything I would get the family membership so you can use the pass everywhere around the country.
