Cheap beer and curling. The things great nights are made of.

I am a hockey player for BRIHA and I absolutely love the rink, whether I have a game, practice, at a free skate with friends or at/playing in summer sporting event. The environment is very family friendly and inviting. It's also easy for kids around the ages 11-17 to go to a public skate with friends. It is most certainly my favorite place to go on a Friday night with a couple of friends. The rink and ice are really well maintained and it is a pleasure to play on it. I love skating and the rink is generally well-maintained. The bar is a bit disconcerting--doesn't quite match the skating experience, especially when I'm there with my children and there's loud/drinking behaviors at the bar. The bar chairs are dangerous for kids, too (it's not "just" a bar; we sometimes get a snack). My daughter fell off and severely cut her chin. She was bruised for weeks. Service is lackluster. Generally, there's not enough help and the workers seem preoccupied. Are they serving food or helping skaters? Seems like two very different...Read More

Ice skating is enjoyable for a short period of time. The wings are garbage (can you please cook them?). Cheap PBR is a plus. It's a skating rink not a bar so don't complain about drink selection.

Great beer selection. Low happy hour prices. Always a bunch of games on TV.

The staff and coaching staff are great. They are diligent and very proactive in everything they do whether it is a coach teaching a young new to hockey child how to play or the bar staff serving you your food or the Zamboni man making sure out ice is well-kept and patching the areas of ice that need patching. I think everyine can have fun here and thats why I gave it a 5 star rating
