Where are we going today?

Chaney's Dairy Barn is not just a restaurant & ice cream store, it is a popular agritourism destination for families. The Chaney Farm has been in the Chaney family since 1888 and an operating dairy farm since 1940.

On Fridays & Mondays in June & July, we offer Summer Family Farm Tours at 1pm by reservation. $8/person includes a wagon ride to the farm, milking demonstration, visit with Jersey calf and a scoop of ice cream!

Enjoy a free scoop of our delicious, homemade ice cream on our annual Miss Glimmer Appreciation Day - a day we set aside to say thanks to our customers and to celebrate June Dairy Month.

Recently named a Top 20 Event by the Southeast Tourism Society, our Ice Cream & a Moovie summer movie series is a popular outing for families. Admission is FREE and folks can bring lawn chairs/blankets and enjoy a family friendly movie shown on the side of the Dairy Barn. Movie starts at dusk.  We also offer cool promos on movie nights! See our website for more details!

In August, we partner with the Warren County Ag Foundation to host Agriculture Awareness Night! This fun night features many free, family fun activities such as pony rides, contests, face painting as well as giving people the opportunity to meet and talk to local food producers and learn more about the importance of agriculture.

Autumn brings the Chaney Corn Maze! Several acres and always a challenge! The price of corn maze admission always includes a scoop of our delicious, homemade ice cream!

Our Barnyard Playground is free and always available. The Barnyard Playground features 2 monster slides, swings and an awesome sand play area. It is located directly behind the Dairy Barn.

Sometimes you might just want to sit and relax and our back porch is just perfect for that! It's a great spot to see a magnificent sunset or just eat a scoop of ice cream! If you prefer to stay indoors, you can find many Kentucky made food and craft products in our gift shop as well as Chaney's Dairy Barn souvenir items.

We had a great experience at Chaney's today. The ice cream was fantastic. Our children can't stop talking about how "generous" the scoops were.
Thanks for a refreshing stop on a hot summer day!

Disappointed. We have two girls (2 and 4) and read online reviews about what a great place this is. I'm sure it is a fun place when you actually get to take the tour, but that is not offered to people just stopping in. The farm is not as close as I imagined, and walking over to it (several hundred feet) on a hot day with two littles was not going to happen. The food was ok. My grilled cheese sandwich was burnt. The ice cream was good. There is a playground out back, but it was too hot to let them play. It is more of a restaurant than an...Read More

The best chicken salad in Bowling Green and the WOW NOW brownie cow ice cream is the ultimate example of how ice cream should be made.

I love going to Chaney's for their soup and sandwich combo. They have the best potato soup around. Not to mention, you get to follow it up with some of that homemade ice cream. I love all of their unique flavors including pumpkin!
