I love this place! You are welcome to walk around this 65-acre Connecticut Western Reserve history site any time from sunup to sundown all year long for free. Tours are on weekends and cost only a nominal amount. The museum store is quaint with a lot of items hand-made by local historic artisans. The view over the valley of the Cuyahoga River headwaters is stunning. And the special festivals (Civil War Encampment, Historic Engine Show, Raccoon County Music Festival and Apple Butter Festival) are well worth the $7 admission.

This is a beautiful place!Note that the current imagery is from memorial day weekend, 2010, and shows the Civil War encampment set up in the century village. This is the best event of the year!
