The farm is near! The farm is near! Just north of Ankeny and south of Ames, head 5 miles east of I-35 on Highway 210 (Exit 102, Cambridge). Then, north 1/8 mile on 610th Ave. Then you're there!

Where are we going today?

It's farm time!  We're not sure if Old MacDonald will be there, but we can certainly see a lot of smiling, happy faces running around!

The Center Grove Orchard has created a beautiful farm atmosphere filled with farm treats and favorites!

Kids - are you ready for this?  Okay, here we go!

You can race your friends in the super fun pedal carts, enjoy the always entertaining hop-a-long horses or even get lost in the giant spiderweb! (spooky!)

You can enjoy a bouncing hayride around the farm, bounce your way through the day on a Jumping Pillow, battle it out in the rubber duck races, and grab some apples for the grand apple sling shot!

Want animals?  You got it!  Of course there are animals!  There is even a fun Goat Walk, and elk!  Perhaps you want to chooooo chooooose your ride on the farm train?

We're still going!  There is also a time tunnel, and a chance to try and find the Three Little Pigs house!

Did we mention a corn pool and corn maze?  No?  Well, now we have, but we just know we mentioned the life-sized miking cow!  We didn't?  Sorry about that - there's a life-sized milking cow!

Of course, you have come to an orchard, so you will never be short of food!  Did someone say caramel apples?  YUM!

My experience was NOT very great. Alright, they have a lot of fun attractions, but if you go on the weekdays its not as great. It is only convenient for my family to go on weekdays usually, and a lot is closed. They offer a prize if you go through the corn maze, and find all ten things. I dragged 5 kids, through gross mud (corn maze is covered in mud), and it ended up to be closed. It was not obvious that it was closed, and it ruined our shoes. The service isn't always great either. Seriously the best apple orchard hands down I have ever been to! My kids had so much fun and so did I, and to top it off they were really sleepy and ready for bed when we came home! Yayy!

We go multiple times every year. If you get a season pass normally you just have to twice and you've saved money. They add new things every year. The cider doughnuts are amazing and my kids love the jumping pillow and corn maze. I it's a must visit for fall.

It’s our 3rd year of going to the apple orchard and they have added new attractions and some very nice buildings! I'm still as impressed as I was the first time we visited. I would recommend this to anyone, of any age! We decided to purchase season passes this year b/c we enjoy it soo much..
