My wife and I love this park. We renew our state park pass annually and visit this one frequently. It has some of the best campsites in DFW. They do a great job with maintaining the park, the staff is extremely friendly and they have great trails to hike/bike.

Awesome camping spots; easy find and it doesn't fee like it's close to the metroplex. Would highly recommend.

We love to camp here in our Motorhome. There is lots of privacy and plenty of campsites that are well maintained. Plus it's close enough to everything that if you're an RV person you've got plenty of options for day trips. One of our favorite state parks. We stay here at least 4-5 times a year.
