About this activity
The Cedar Creek Grist Mill is the only water powered example remaining in the states which remains structurally complete and grinds with stones as originally.
Visitors are given a 'working tour' of production and technique as they explore the traditional building and will receive samples of stone ground flour etc as keepsakes.
The equipment is impressive and children enjoy viewing the workings form the inside, with every single element powered by water alone.
