There are a number of tours that you can choose from, so you can make sure you get the best one suitable for your family! There are a number of days tours, including the Dolphin and Whalewatching Tour. This 3 hour tour that departs at 1pm will take you out into Delaware Bay, as well as the Atlantic Ocean. This estuary is a haven for a number of species of marine life, and because there's fresh AND saltwater, it's nutrient rich for those whales and dolphins! (That's great for you!)
Most of the sightings here happen IN the bay, or very close by, so it's great for those who don't want to venture too far out into the ocean! Your trip is also fully narrated so you get a great education along the way too!
There is a reduced trip on the weekend for 2.5 hours if you want a reduced rate but just as much fun - you even get a free breakfast included! It's perfect for families and kids that have a tight schedule on the weekend, but still want to see those amazing creatures up close.
Cape May Whale Watcher also has some pretty special cruises too! There is the Delaware Bay Sunset Lighthouse Cruise, which gives you 3 hours to experience a trip to the local vineyard, as well as stopping at some pretty amazingly historic lighthouses.
